Fore Wood Floors grew out of SP Barnard Traditional Joinery, which was founded in 1978. Since the day we started, we have continued to work with wood and timber products. We have specialised in hardwood flooring for the past 30 years.
Our expertise comes not from carpets or general flooring but from decades working with wood. As trained and experienced craftsmen, we’ve undertaken hundreds of successful projects and would be eager to add yours to the list.

We feel that our unique selling point is our huge stock of flooring, but most of all its our Team, we are a local business and we keep things small so we can give you the flooring you want, our fitters have been with us for years and will be for many more.
Our fitters Russell and Guy are highly skilled and we trust them 100% to give our customers the perfect floor, they are professional craftsman and can do amazing cuts and their unsurpassed attention to detail is second to none
Kieran is our head sander and only sander but as Kieran likes to be called The Finishing specialist, Kieran always gives a 100% and has years of experience and loves his job.
Our office team work hard to make sure it all runs smoothly and are always there to help with any questions you have, Sheena is queen of the office she has worked for us for over 20 years and everybody loves Sheena, she is always bubbly and friendly and is the go to person if you need anything, she always has a smile on her face and is happy to help you with whatever you need.
Last but not least is Simon the owner of Fore wood Floors, Simon started as joiner and has worked with wood for over 30 years and Fore Wood Floors grew out of SP Barnard Traditional joinery, which was founded in 1978.
Simon is the wood ninja and there's nothing that Simon doesn't know about wood (or google), his love and passion always come thorough. Simon loves to be involved and will be the one to visit your house and do a survey and will follow the project from start to finish.
Our office dogs Frank an Fan love their jobs, Frank is out meet and greet, he is always happy to see customers.
Fanny is our head shredder and loves her job and is always happy to do the shredding.
